As a committee member, I was responsible for organising several multi-day residential trips that were highly sought after, with over 1,100 members but only 30-50 spots available due to logistical constraints like transportation, food, and accommodation.

Cooking was communal — everyone pitched in, which brought the group together and occasionally produced some memorable results.
